I have 4 wonderful children (sometimes) and I have spent 27 years raising them, one observation I have made over the years, they really haven't improved mouse traps or clothes pins. They are things I've used all these years and I don't think they could be improved upon. Sometimes these simple things are best. I decided to paint some clothespins a crimson red, I let them dry them I antiqued them with a light wash of burn't umber acrylic paint. After drying a hour or so, I took them outside and sprayed them lightly with spray varnish. I am going to hang up some primitive coffee stained doll clothes, with them and make a clotheline with jute string. I will stack some old quilts, that are in old blues, greens and reds. I think it will look good.
