One of my angel dolls. I wish I had more time to experiment with clay arms and legs. The wings were hearts cut out of red clay.

Fabric Find...1950's
A picture of the fabric I found today while folding fabric. The name is "Paris in Spring" was made in the 1950's. I have 2 yards, but how could I ever cut this?

Kindred Spirits
There is something that is so special about having your own business that nothing can match. That is meeting and getting to know special people that come as strangers and then take up residence in your heart. For me that describes a friend from Florida, Betty Johnson, that has become a true friend/kindred spirit. I don't know how many years ago we met, but every September Betty flys into Iowa to visit her brothers and always finds time to stop and visit us. We moved across the state but found a place to meet in Kalona, Iowa where we look at fabric, discuss patterns, talk buttons and laugh. We always finish with a meal at the Amish Bakery. We part and go back to our work and look forward to the next year. Thank you Betty for being you.
